Old Colony RVTHS Transportation Bid

The District School Committee of Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School District invites the submission of sealed bids, although originally the bids were for a one year contract with an option for two, one-year renewals and the contract was to begin on July 1, 2020 and end on June 30, 2021, the district has revised this bid.
The District now invites submission of sealed bids for a five year contract with an option for two, one-year renewals.  Services to be provided are: regular route pupil transportation service, late runs, athletic trips, student activity trips, field trips, and other transportation as needed.   Start date of the contract will follow a vote for award at the District School Committee meeting on August 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.

  • Supplemental food and nutrition programs are constantly being introduced, expanded and changing.
  • Please be sure that the information on your household school meal application(s) school year 2019-20 remains current.  An  approved application now ensures continuation of school meal benefits during the 30-day carryover period next school year. The approved school meal application also makes the household immediately eligible for P-EBT benefits.

PEBT Updates/Facts

 Project Bread’s Food Source Hotline-1-800-645-8333

  • In May the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) will be mailing a letter to eligible households. Households that are eligible and do not receive a letter by the end of May should call the Project Bread Hotline.
  • One card will be issued for each eligible child: $5.70 per day: $28.50 per week.
  • Once you receive a card. Hold onto it. Funds may be added in the future.
  • Funds carry over from month to month.
  • P-EBT cards can be used at any store accepting SNAP. Most retailers have SNAP/EBT signs.

  •     P-EBT benefits supplement grab and go meal sites: they do not replace them.
