Old Colony was represented at the Massachusetts Celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day on February 3, 2006, by Kerrie Rousseau (Acushnet) and Hannah Savaria (Rochester), The event took place at Faneuil Hall in Boston, MA.  

Old Colony Superintendent-Director, David J. Ferreira, recently recognized eleven students for their assistance with the career awareness activities. Brandon Duarte, an Old Colony senior and member of the Old Colony Chapter of the National Honor Society has been nominated to compete in the National Honor Society scholarship sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).
