The administration and staff at Old Colony is pleased to announce the nomination of CIT instructor Jacqueline Machamer as their nominee for the Massachusetts Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. Machamer, a Berkley resident, was the overwhelming selection of the Old Colony professional staff. A consummate professional, Mrs. Machamer has been recognized statewide for her leadership in Information Technology. She has served the District since 1997.

Superintendent-Director, David J. Ferreira, stated that “Mrs. Machamer continually provides outstanding instruction on a daily basis and is a sincere, caring, and effective teacher.”
