Seniors Rebecca Vieira (Acushnet) and Andrew Young (Freetown) have received the Massachusetts Vocational Association Presidential Certificate of Merit for the 2004-2005 school year. The award is presented to seniors across the state who meet rigid criteria, which include a strong record of vocational achievement, outstanding school attendance, motivation in the vocational field, and good citizenship.

Mothers of Cosmetology Department students are invited to be guests in celebrating the Department’s Sixteenth Annual Mothers’ Day Celebration. The celebration will be held in the Cosmetology Department, beginning with a Coffee Hour at 9:00 AM. Students will then offer a variety of cosmetology services. At noon, a luncheon will be served to all guests.

Senior Jeffrey Golenski (Acushnet) has been selected as a recipient of the 2005 Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship. This award, funded through The Comcast Foundation, recognizes high school seniors from Comcast communitites for commitment to community service, academics, and demonstrated leadership. To acknowledge these accomplishments, recipients receive a one-time grant of $1,000.
