Student-athletes to receive citizenship awards

Four student-athletes at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School will receive Citizenship Awards at an April 5th ceremony at Northeastern University. This ceremony, created in conjunction with National STUDENT-Athlete Day, is designed to recognize Massachusetts high school student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence in three disciplines: academics, athletics, and citizenship. The awards ceremony will be held on April 5, 2005, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at Blackman Auditorium on the campus of Northeastern University. Honored student-athletes will be able to share their views and hear the view of other student-athletes from throughout Massachusetts.

Old Colony award recipients will include:

  • Peter Hoeg (Lakeville)
  • Brandon Larrivee (Carver)
  • Erin Mello (Acushnet)
  • Hannah Savaria (Acushnet)
