The Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School District Committee adopted the 2005-2006 District School Improvement Plan, as required by the Massachusetts Education Reform Act, at its meeting on September 21, 2005. The Plan was prepared and recommended by the Old Colony School Council.

Three times each school year, the Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School District publishes a newsletter for parents and community residents. The newsletter addresses significant educational issues and highlights activities at the technical high school. The school maintains a mailing list of individuals who receive the periodic newsletter. The Old Colony Cosmetology Department is open to the public. Appoinments may be made Monday through Friday. The Cosmetology Department instructors train students in facials, manicures, scalp treatments, permanent waves, hair coloring, highlighting techniques, and (new this year) hand and arm paraffin wax treatments.
