On Thursday 9/8/16 all freshmen attended an Exploratory Assembly.  This assembly explained the exploratory process and eventual shop placement.  Students were given their schedules and a pair of safety glasses.  The students were also given an information packet with the clothing requirements for each of the shop programs.  Students are reminded to check their schedule

All Old Colony staff and students participated in a full ALICE practice drill today (either lockdown/shelter-in-place/barricade or evacuated and reunified outside the building). Due to the rain predicted for this afternoon, a decision has been made to move the graduation ceremony indoors. The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m., and students are limited to 4 tickets each for their guests.

Starting this spring, six Old Colony juniors in the Programming and Web Design shop began redesigning the Onset Fire Department website. Last week, the students met with members of the fire department to showcase their initial designs. The student-run development team aims to complete the project in the fall. Old Colony hosted a College and Career Fair for the Junior class in June 2017. Preparation for the 2018 College and Career Fair are underway and will be posted soon. Students met with representatives from a wide range of colleges, universities and technical schools. A number of speakers also discussed their professions and career fields.
