CIT students earn BCC credits

Computer Information Technology (CIT) students at Old Colony are involved in a unique learning opportunity. The students are enrolled as “distance learning students” at Bristol Community College. In effect, they are earning college credits and participating in college online courses, while at school. Courses in Information Technology (IT) Fluency 1 and 2 are being offered.

Health Careers students get CNA certification

The administration at Old Colony RVTHS is pleased to announce that all eleven of last year’s junior Health Careers students received their CNA certification after completing their written exam and comppetency test. Electronics student receives ETA certification

A member of the Class of 2007 at Old Colony RVTHS has earned national certification from the Electronics Technicians Association. Robert Loesher, of Carver, received the Associate Level Electronics Technicians Certification. The Associate Level is generally earned by individuals in post-secondary education. The credential is required by the electronics industry across the United States.
