Machine & Tool students get NIMS certification

The Machine & Tool Technology Department at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School continues its accreditation with the National Institute of Metalworking Skills Association (NIMS).

Twelve members of the Class of 2007 achieved the first level of NIMS Certification last month. The National Institute of Metalworking Skills awards the credential upon successful completion of testing at nationally accepted standards.

The following juniors are now certified:

  • Mosley Cruz (Freetown)

  • Ross Ferreira (Acushnet)
  • Daniel Hurd (Carver)
  • Brian Lynch (Carver)
  • Nicholas Miller (Acushnet)
  • Jason Phinney (Carver)
