The Cosmetology program offers students the opportunity to learn about all the facets of beauty care. Students receive optimum individual attention and close personal instruction to meet the extensive state and national guidelines. Instruction takes place in a hair salon that serves the public. In the salon, students will receive hands on experience in the technical aspect of the shop and on social skills. Students that accumulate 1000 hours after the age of 15 are eligible to take the state licensing exam and become a licensed cosmetologist.
