FAFSA Night

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is the form that determines your financial aid from the government and most colleges. The form collects personal and financial information from students and parents and applies a formula to determine your Expected Family Contribution or EFC. Completing the FAFSA form can be a confusing form to file, but an integral part of the college process. We will be holding our FAFSA night with advisors from the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Members from the EOC will work one-on-one with families to complete the FAFSA form.

Completing the FAFSA form is an important part of the college process. Appointments will be offered from 3:00 to 6:30 in the evening. You may call  508 763-8011 x 231 to schedule your requested appointment. Please leave your name, your student’s name, and shop and your telephone number

You can also visit EOC at their main office to complete your FAFSA and/or CSS Profile. The CSS Profile is a different online application that collects information used by nearly 400 colleges and scholarship programs to award non-federal aid.  (For federal aid you must complete the FAFSA form).

The Educational Opportunity Center also offers late afternoon/early evening and Saturday morning appointments on a limited basis as well. . Again, all services are free. For more information regarding this agency and to schedule an appointment Please call 508-996-3147 ext. 3923. EOC is located at 589 South First St New Bedford MA 02740
