Mark Mainella, one of the nation’s leading motivational speakers, visited Old Colony on Dec. 9th for his annual talk to seniors. Mr. Mainella told the students that expressing one’s individualism is a positive thing and that everyone, not only students, should treat others with respect. Mr. Mainella also challenged the seniors to set goals and standards for their lives and to work hard to achieve their dreams. He discussed the importance of the continual need for self-improvement in order to be in position to take advantage of life’s opportunities. As usual, the students thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Mainella’s session and came away with some valuable advice.
