Good Evening Old Colony Community,
Governor Baker just announced, during his 3:30 press conference, that the state wide school closure will remain in effect until Monday, May 4th. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will be providing additional guidance on this extended closing to Superintendents tomorrow.
At this point we will continue to connect with our students through the academic enrichment resource guide previously communicated. Teacher outreach will begin Monday, March 30th. Our Administrative team will provide additional updates as we receive more information and guidance from the DESE, DPH and the Governor’s office.
Thank you for your patience and continued support during this unprecedented time. We will brave these uncharted waters together and do everything in our power to support your families through our efforts. Health and safety is our top priority. We all have to do our part to “flatten the curve”. Social distancing through the closing of schools will be a big part of this effort.
Wishing you all health and peace of mind.
Sincerely,
Aaron L. Polansky, Superintendent-Director
Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School
