Corey Beecher, a resident of Lakeville and a senior in the Cosmetology Department, has been selected to receive a 2007-2008 Prudential Spirit of Community Service Award. This national award program is jointly sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the Prudential Insurance Company.

Corey is a member of the Old Colony Chapter of the National Honor Society and was nominated for her work in the community and in school. Corey received a cash award and a framed certificate from the District School Committee in recognition of her nomination for this award.
