The Old Colony Math Club performed well at a local math competition held at Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School on April 5, 2007. Old Colony sent five juniors and five sophomores to the jeopardy-style Math Meet.
Under the supervision of math instructors Kevin Gonsalves and Nancy Francis, the two teams of Old Colony students finished the event in 10th and 12th place out of a field of twenty teams from the area’s vocational high schools. The students did a great job in their mathematical performance and represented the school well. It was the first competition for eight of the Old Colony students.
