Four student-athletes get citizenship awards

Four student-athletes at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School received Citizenship Awards at the April 12, 2007, ceremony at Northeastern University. This ceremony, created in conjunction with National Student-Athlete Day, is designed to recognize Massachusetts high school student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence in three disciplines: academics, athletics, and citizenship. The awards ceremony was held at Blackman Auditorium on the campus of Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Honored student-athletes were able to share their views and hear the opinions of other student-athletes from throughout Massachusetts.

Old Colony award recipients included:

  • Christopher Faustino (Rochester)
  • Brittany Fagan (Lakeville)
  • John Romanelli (Acushnet)
  • Jade Worthington (Acushnet)
