Students see The Pirate Queen on Broadway

Old Colony students participated in another entertaining and beneficial learning experience on their annual Broadway Trip to New York City on March 14, 2007. This year’s trip to Broadway was taken by College Preparatory and Tech Prep 2 + 2 students from the senior and junior classes. Old Colony hopes to continue to promote the arts through interdisciplinary instruction. Students watched the play “The Pirate Queen” and then visited the Guggenheim Museum to see the Spanish paintings from El Greco to Picasso. Mr. Gary Brown, the school principal, coordinated the planning of this program and secured student rate tickets.
