Ninth-graders learn time management

Recently, Mr. Brad VanDusen, a representative from “Making High School Count,” met with all grade 9 students in an assembly held in the Old Colony cafetorium.

The program focused on time management in high school. The discussion included what colleges look for in an applicant, the importance of being involved in the overall school community, and a discussion of effective study habits. Student volunteers participated in several exercises to help illustrate what attributes colleges and employees look for in applicants.

Students answered questions in a booklet which they kept upon completion of the assembly. The issue of time management and the importance of responsible study habits were emphasized throughout the program.
