Members of the Health Careers Program at Old Colony will participate in a job shadow program at St. Luke’s Hospital. The Old Colony juniors will affiliate from May 22 through June 2, 2006.

There will be one student per day assigned to eleven various departments throughout the hospital. The student will remain in the department and shadow an employee and observe them in their role as health care providers. The purpose for the job shadow program is to give the students an opportunity to observe various health care workers at work. Hopefully, this opportunity will help the students to make better decisions about the type of health care they may want to pursue in the future.
