CIT junior re-designs MVA website

The Computer Information Technology Department at Old Colony is proud to recognize junior Christopher Kirk. Christopher recently finished a complete redesign of the Massachusetts Vocational Association (MVA) website. Christopher’s fine work and effort included a total upgrade of the 21–page website, a new site layout, new style sheet, new banner, additional content and images, and other improvements.

Christopher along with a team member, recently won first place (gold medal) in Old Colony’s annual SkillsUSA competition in the web design category. He then went on to participate in the SkillsUSA District Competition in Bourne, MA, on March 2, 2006, where he won a gold medal along with his partner Jeff Cormier, who placed in nationals last year. Christopher is a resident of Acushnet.

MVA Executive Director/Treasurer Marcus H. Ashley III and MVA Southeastern Chapter President Irene M. Ashley were very pleased with the excellent result of Christopher’s work.
The MVA website can be seen on the Internet at www.massvocassoc.org.
