The Department of Education has officially awarded Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School a total sum of $48,139.00, as part of the FY 06 Perkins Grant, of which $7,440.00 comes from the Freetown-Lakeville School District.

The FY 06 funding will be used to update equipment in the Health Careers and the Automotive Technology Programs. District funds, along with Perkins money, will also be used to obtain National Certification in Culinary Arts. Fifteen percent (15%) of funding will be used for staff professional development.
