CIT students to redesign Plymouth County DA website

On September 23, 2005, three Computer Information Technology students met with two representatives from the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office to discuss the redesign of their website.

Barbara A. Faherty, Director of Community Relations, and Lucia M. Gavigan, I.T. Network Administrator, visited Old Colony and met with CIT juniors Jeffrey Cormier (Acushnet), Janelle Gifford (Acushnet), and Nicholas DeBrum (Lakeville).

During the discussion, the students presented Ms. Faherty and Ms. Gavigan with a sample template page they constructed using contemporary web design principals and style sheets. The visitors discussed the specifications and requirements that needed to be followed in the redesign process.

Working with the Plymouth County Districts Attorney’s Office, the CIT students hope to complete the website redesign in December 2005.
