Sophomore to attend MassSTAR event

Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School will participate in a leadership activity for 10th graders.

The MassSTAR Conference is a three-day event held in June. MassSTAR’s purpose is to bring together a select group of high school sophomores who have demonstrated leadership ability so that they can interact with others to discuss present and future issues. The MassSTAR Foundation has conducted annual conferences since 1978. During these conferences, sophomores have the opportunity to meet, interact with, and questions leaders in government, business, technology, education, science, and the arts.

Acushnet resident, Janelle Gifford, has been selected to represent Old Colony.
